Versus was created as both an image and a graphic score, and is based on a sentence from Celui qui ne m'accompagnait pas by Maurice Blanchot, Paris, Gallimard, 1953.

The text transforms in a kind of 'morphing' form.  As Michel Foucault writes 'Blanchot's fictions are, rather than the images themselves, their transformation, displacement, and neutral interstices'.
